If you are new to the church, new to Platte, or just poking around our website, we are thankful that you’ve taken some time to look into our church.
This particular branch of God’s family has been planted in Platte, South Dakota since 1883, and we continue to exist in order to bring people to Jesus. As you’ll see elsewhere on this site, our mission as a church is to know Christ, to be like Christ, and to share Christ. There are a lot of different ways that we attempt to do that, but in all our life as a church we hope that Christ would be supreme (Col 1:18).
Our hope is that you would not stop here at the website, but continue on to meet with us in person. After all, the people are what make this church!
We gather each week on Sunday, the "Lord’s Day," and we’d love it if you joined us to worship God. If you’re looking for a church family, this just might be a place and a people that you could call home! Please contact me if you have any questions!
